A therapist provides a unbiased and safe environment that allows an individual to express their feelings, share their thoughts and opinions, develop skills, and work toward identifying and completing goals to achieve positive changes in their lives. A therapist will be your ally as you adapt to change and incorporate skills. In addition, a therapist offers a supportive, non-judgmental space, where growth can be take place a pace an individual is comfortable with.
About the Therapist
Michael Loza, LMFT grew up in the California Central Valley and has lived in the area the majority of his life. Michael serves adolescents and adults through assisting them with conquering difficult adjustments & the various changes they may experience in their lives. Michael does this by first building a solid rapport and a strong relationship with individuals. Michael varies and adapts treatment to fit the needs of the individual and helps them work towards achievement of their goals.
Michael received his undergraduate degree (B.A.) in Psychology at California State University, Sacramento. He achieved his graduate degree (M.S.) in Counseling - Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University, Fresno. Michael received his training in a county-contracted agency serving youth and families with severe mental health needs. Michael has been providing counseling services to individuals, families, and couples in Fresno county and the surrounding areas since 2013. Michael has also been a proud member of CAMFT since 2013.
